Having a hard time finishing this book. Hoping for a smart/modern take on anorexia & the new pressures that come w/ having endless possibilities. But her reasons are to be respected. The thing that bothers me, is more to do with the author's voice - it comes across as smug, hypocritical, even naive. The worst part is her fangirling of other memoirs. It's as if this book is her final redemption - "I had anorexia!"

So far, the book has talked about how an anorexic's life is like. How the anorexic's person thinks and acts. How the person stay is like at a hospital. Kelsey gives a lot of other examples of other people opinions or thoughts about authors who has wrote about anorexia. She has also mention about her anorexia story and how was her thought process was like back then, and what happened during that time.
