Status Updates From If I Ever Get Out of Here

This is really good, but also difficult to read. It brings up a lot of memories. I may take a break from it.

This book is also very much embedded in the time period, maybe more so to me because it's close to my childhood. Still I wonder how contemporary readers take all the references to the time period.

The sock tuck is so relatable. Much of the book is very relatable, even though I never grew up on a Rez or in this part of the America. Growing up in poor indigenous POC communities have a lot of commonalities.
