I think I can see where this book is going...

I don't know why the reviews for this book are so low. Yes, the writing is a bit overwrought, but the story is quite good!

I really like it so far very interesting

So far it is pretty good just basic characterization of main character Noa, se has met two lawyers trying to get her help with clemency to stop the death penalty. Right now she is talking about her life to “Ollie” in hopes that it will make people feel bad about her and hope that she isn’t granted death

So far I'm feeling a little underwhelmed with the story at this point. It's not totally keeping my attention.

I changed my mind about reading this book

this book broke my god damn heart

Slow reading, even for a short book!

And the suspense intensifies....

i am really not feeling sympathetic to the victim's mother not at all

Still enjoying this one. I hate to get out of my car some days when I'm listening.

Listening on audio. Great reader. I'm thinking this is an unreliable narrator, which really doesn't bother me. So far, so good.

Im really losing track of this book now - was enjoying it at the beginning but now im not actually sure whats going on.

I'm continuing to listen but not wowing me so far.

I would like to reiterate that I'm not taking this slowly because I don't like it- I'm just exhausted from work. I'm loving it so far!

I've not got much time to read right now, but I'm really enjoying this so far
