This is not my first time reading this book. I read it before, about a year ago. I thought this was a good book, so now I am re-reading it.

This book is adorable. It keeps getting compared to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but it’s giving me The Westing Game feels. Either way, I’m loving it!

The main conflict is between Mr. Lemoncello and about 5 kids. Mr. Lemoncello traps them in a library type maze. They have to find the way out before the timer runs out.

The protagonist in my story is Kyle Keeley. He is a very smart boy who happens to be the youngest of three boys. Although he isn't anything like his brothers they love to include him when they play their games. Since Kyle is a brave boy he never says no to their offer.

Sierra is basically me haha. Just hangs out in the corner reading books and has no idea what’s going on.
This is pretty fun so far! I definitely see why people compare it to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

This was such a fun and easy to understand family read aloud. Great for all ages and actually packed with good library information.

I chose to read escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library. I was given a suggestion by my brother because he thought I would like it because what the book was about. I read the back of the book and I found that the book was about a world famous game maker.

I was given suggestion by my brother because he thought I would like it because of what the back of the book said. The back of the book was about a world famous game maker which was interested to me. I also liked the cover and of the the different people look interesting.

1. This book was absolutely written to cater to public librarians, and I am very okay being catered to, 2. Charles Chiltington just briefly became Southern? What is happening with the dialects in this audiobook, 3. I want to punch Charles Chiltington in the teeth, 4. I feel like most people (read: children) who read this don’t have the same problem I’m having, which is intense cravings for limoncello.

OBSESSED with the idea that there’s a librarian so internationally famous that random seventh graders recognize her. Super confused by her dialect in the narration though, since the text says her accent is Russian, and the delivery sounds Indian to me. Maybe I’ll have to imagine her as mixed Indian and Russian to get over the cognitive dissonance.

My kids loved the first chapter. The second chapter didn't keep their attention very well. I'm hoping the story comes together.

I think that In the library someone will get hurt because this place sounds like willy Wonka's chocolate factory and because it has so many different puzzles and the boy who wanted to go the most was predicted not to go because he wrote a horrible essay but got picked anyways so there are just a lot of similarities.

Currently listening to the audiobook; I'm super late to getting to this book, but WOW what a sheer delight. The hypetrain was very well lived up to, and I am really enjoying this listen.

In chapter 41 Sierra finds the outbids that have the word title in their books. In chapter 42 Andrew is watching Sierra and he’s thinking if a way to steal her library. The setting is Me. Lemoncellos library wand it greatly affects the book because the plot is trying to escape it. It is a very big and creative library, it is similar to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory.
