Mr. Lemoncello is cooler than Willy Wonka!

Dear film-maker, please visualize this coolest library in the world!

"It'll be like The Hunger Games but with lots of food and no bows or arrows." The eleven year old and I are enjoying all the trivia and pop culture references.

So far, it's basically Junior Library Instruction.

This is essentially Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. And that's ok. I'm not dying to find out what happens when I put it down, but I'm certainly entertained while I'm reading.

This is so…clean cut. It's weird to read about a game put on by adults for kids that is entirely purehearted and safe and has no single adult with malicious intent. Not…bad. Just weird. And kind of boring? But that makes me feel like a jerk for saying.

My new listen! This seems kind of like The Westing Game / Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.

"Clever" may be too pejorative a word to describe this book, but it is very well written and the puzzles within the book are engaging.

I love this book

This book is a fantastic read aloud! It's also a children's selection for the Silicon Valley Reads program this year. The theme of SVR this year is "Books & Technology: Friends or Foes?"

right now, the kids are doing their essays on what they think the new library will be like and if they win the contest, they get to sleep in the library before its open!

almost there! I cannot recall another book where Sid has pleaded like this for additional chapters after our reading has concluded for the night

annoying amount of dialogue for reading out loud, but Sid is OBSESSED

I am enjoying this book SO MUCH!

I think I'm going to like this one.

The book is very great. I really like the character Charles because I don't like he is so very unlikeable . He picks fights with everyone and he is very anoixious. I also like Kyle Keeley because he Isaac very good team captain. I also liked the twists where Andrew got kicked out of the competition and Haley went onto lyles team.

I love this book. With all of its clever clues I think that this is the kind of book that everything makes sense in the end. Mr Lemoncellos library sounds so cool!

Today I read about the Mr. Lemoncello's library and how it is new and that it has been being renovated for 5 years and in the book it says that it has things hidden in the wall. I really want to fined out what is so secretive about the walls in the library.
