if the author says, "less than" when it really should be written "fewer than" one more incorrect time I'm going to hurl the book. you can't have "less books...." nice job editor.

already a handful of errors - grammatical and library references -but I guess I'll try to finish anyway. It's a tad silly.

"...a library is more than a collection of dusty old books. It is a place to learn, explore, and grow!"

I'm prereading this before I read it as a read aloud in class - it's fun, but is definitely written to be read by 4th or 5th graders

You guys have literally been in the board game room before. Kyle was even being clever about the display! How can you not know it's there?

Nothing was more pleasing than watching Charles go. Nothing.

The dialogue in this book is bothering me. It just lacks that realism that makes a character believable. I don't know how to explain it. Miguel, among others, reads like a cliche rather than a realistic character. There's also this effort to seem contemporary by making references to popular culture that gives me the same bad taste in my mouth that excessive product placement in television does. Still, I'll read on.

It's great! Love the secrets the characters have and I feel like it will be similar to the Breakfast Club.

This books reminds me of a library-centric Charlie and the Chocolate factory. Complete with kid who likes TV and a stuffy spoiled kid.

The girls came home eager to share about their morning and to get back into the book. This has been a fun addition to our lunch routine.
