starting to get super good! i really love adventure books like this one

Only 46 pages in! but so good! getting to the adventure!!

Kyle made it through the first part of the library night but the next morning is when the real library lock in starts.

We love reading the Lemoncello stories for our bedtime stories. Who knew the could be so much adventure in a library?

Funny book! Read it with my 10 year old, and he actually laughed at the jokes. He was looking forward to reading it with me, which means it is a definite recommended book for kids who like jokes and puns and odd things.

2) A message someone should take away from the novel so far is, sometimes working with a team is better than working on your own. This is important because, Kyle and his team are way more ahead in the game than Charles, because they are all working together to achieve their end goal. In all, it is fine to work on your own some times, but working in a group is very helpful when the challenges get tougher.

1) Currently in the novel, Kyle K and his team and Charles C are neck and neck, striving to get out of Mr. Lemoncello's library first. Though Charles was once ahead, without thinking he broke Mrs. Z's most important rule which is to not abuse your teammates and most importantly, the books.

I love this book because is very clever and interesting.

2) The genre of, Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library is a fiction because of the unrealistic events that happen in the story. For example, When Andrew and Sierra are talking, suddenly a talking bunny appears and tells them to go to sleep. This event usually never happens in real life.

1) Currently, in the book Charles is falling behind. All of his team mates left him to go and join Kyle's team. Unfortunately for Charles, Kyle's team has made a great headway due to Haley joining their team. (Hailey was on Charles's team before, so she shared all of their findings with her new teammates.)

I'm reading this for my daughter's 4th grade book club and I am LOVING it! So creative and fun so far. Kind of a Charlie and the Chocolate factory vibe with the over the top library and a competition between the kids to use library research to escape the library and win the grand prize.

1) Currently in this book the each of the two teams are getting closer and closer to getting out of Mr. Lemoncellos Library. Currently though, Kyle’s team is ahead because Charles’s team took a challenge question and got it wrong. Unluckily for them, the consequence was severe and they got locked out of the certain parts of the library for 12 hours.

I’m very excited, gotta love Sierra though

2) In the book currently the most important character is Charles Chilington. He is the main antagonist, and from the start he has always been trying to figure out a way to eliminate the other competitors. The reason he is the most interesting character is because, it is always fun for the reader to try and figure out what player he is going to try and eliminate next in the game.

1) Currently both Charles's and Kyle's teams are getting closer and closer to getting out of the library in time. Both teams actually just found out clues. For Kyle's team the clues were embeded in one of Mr. Lemoncello's old games. Adding to this, for Charles's their new clue was found in the staffs top picks section in the library entrance hall.

I like it so far, I hope Sierra wins.

It shows how for some people the only thing that matters is fame and fortune instead of focusing on the moment. For example, in the book Kyle and his friend team up, but they see Charles Chillington trying to evict people.

2) Chris Grabenstein's writing style is phenomenal, their is really nothing I would change about how he wrote the novel.

It's getting really good and I'm super interested in finding out what happens. However Charles is really getting on my nerves

In the novel right now, the main character Kyle K has just been selected as the 12th recipient of a night in Mr. Lemencello's library + a $500 gift card for a ton of new games.

The personal connection I made from this book is when Kyle gets picked as the 12th winner. I remember in 4th grade the school hosted a charity event and the lucky winner who raised the most money got an Ipad mini!!! Guess who won, it was me!!

In the novel currently, the Keeley brothers are currently playing their favorite game- Mr. Lem.... Outdoor Indoor Scavenger Hunt. When the youngest out of the three brothers, Kyle wins. He is caught for the damage he caused to do so. He is then grounded and has to pay for the damages.

So far their would be nothing in the novel I would change, because I haven't gotten far enough into the story yet to decide.
