i hadn't realized richard adams dealt with theology in his fiction. does Watership Down have a theological dimension too? I don't remember.

Long books (400+ pages) are so overwhelming for me. I always feel like I'm going to be stuck on this book forever so I read more often because I HAVE TO GET IT OUT OF THE WAY. Thus, the book becomes a chore so my opinion of the book is swayed and a mid-book review is hard to do. If I take a good hard look at this book, I love it and I love where it is going.

I wish science fiction/fantasy novels spent less time describing buildings, the history of those buildings, the ruins of those buildings, etc. Buildings don't interest me, but I think this is a genre thing and not something to take up with Adams personally.
