Read Seven Against Thebes. Having Antigone fresh on the brain, I was amazed at how seamless this play flowed into Sophocles’ play. Wiki informs me, though, that the final part was written after the success of Antigone, which I find interesting.
I’m a fan of the climatic action set piece happening off stage. It reminds me of the death of Llewelyn Moss in No Country For Old Men.

Read Prometheus Bound. Given all the stories about Castro that I’ve heard since marrying into a Cuban family, I couldn’t help but see the resemblances to the way Castro betrayed his people after they helped him overthrow Batista. Prometheus laid the smack down on Hermès... I’m surprised he didn’t get a Yo Mama dug in there.

finished Prometheus bound and have to say it was an interesting read. There is a very different feel to this play than the Greek plays I am use to.
