I wasn’t expecting to love it so much. I’ve ordered the first book now but I find that even though a lot more would make sense if I’d read Hart and Mercy first, I’m still loving it and understanding a fair amount. So far, fave character might be Pen. I like side characters. Frank and Twyla are pretty awesome mains though
