It’s refreshing to read a romance where the MMC and the MFC are fully grown adults. This is a love story between two old friends in their 50s. I love this quirky strange world Bannen has created. Loved the first book and am loving this one.

Honestly, I think the slow pace would be fine if there wasn't a kind of love triangle shoved in? My least favorite trope is "dating someone who isn't terrible, but you don't like them as much as the other person so everything they do is a negative and they're basically there just to get the real couple together." Idk, I'd like it better if she got with both Quill and Frank. I'm just not into it, tbh.
