another thing that makes Manny different from the rest of the family is that he is socially awkward. Manny has no real friends he has imaginary friends called: Joey, Petey, Danny, Charles Tribble, the other Charles Tribble, Tiny Jim, and Johnny Cheddar. Every thursday Greg's family goes out for dinner at a terrible restaurant that has rude waiters and waitresses and has discussing four year olds.

In fact the kids were so ahead of him that they could use scissors work in groups. Greg didn't make it half a day so his mom came back and took him from kindergarden and the next day asked the teacher for Greg's spot back. then the book starts on how his brother, Manny, got to do other things that he didn't do when he was little. So Greg and his older brother, Rodrick, were just "Guinea pigs for Manny.

the beginning starts with Greg say that he wishes that he started writing in his journal sooner because somehow when he is famous reporters want to know what happened in the early years of his life. then Greg starts going on about his early life starting as an infant to preschool. Apparently Greg's mom thought that he was a little genius and skipped preschool. but the students were way ahead of him.

I am going to finish the book tonight. i liked reading it. here greg is now at the school dance and his "date" saw he ex boyfriend and ran into the bathroom crying. so greg was stuck all alone just waiting for the dance to be over with

As always DWK is super funny. Right now Greg is fretting about Candygrams and who to ask to the Valentines Day Dance. He has even made a chart of how everyone is connected. Whether they like, hate, dating, dated or are friends with eachother. Right know he is pretty desperate to get a date to the dance!

i started this book a while ago after reading animal farm and the ousiders i felt like i needed to read a fun book for a little break. and i like these kinds of books that cheer me up. here greg is taking out a "date" and it is not going so well so far.

On page 212, Greg made a fool out of himself. The text said that Greg saw a red bump on Abigails chin and he said that was the same thin he saw on Rowleys chin and forehead so Greg screamed. Abigail said it was a pimple. This means that he not only made a fool out of him, but he made Abigail feel embarrassed.

the setting of the book third wheel is in a city with no name. The characters are greg that is in 8 grade, his bro Roderick in university, dad and mom and the uncle gary. tacitly the location is in boston cause there is snow but not a soo busy city.

Another example from the text is, " Almost EVERYTHING I had back in those days was a hand-me0down from Rodrick. By the time something came to me, it was either worn-out or covered in slobber. Even my PACIFIER was a hand-me-down from Rodrick." This means they either didn't have enough money to buy new things or they wanted to save money and not waste it on things they didn’t really need.

Something else that got into my mind was Greg's parents didn't have enough money to buy a house and new things for Greg like new toys or things like that. I know this because the text says," My family was living in a really small apartment back then, and i had to share a room with Rodrick. He got the crib and I had to sleep in the top of the dresser drawer."

I started this book today.

Greg was jealous when he was younger when he found out he wasn't an only child. I know this because the text says,"I met my older brother Rodrick, a few days after i was born. Up to that point I thought I was an only child, so I was pretty disappointed to find out I wasn't." That tells me was wasn't that jealous but he might've been mad.

Greg is not a true friend so far in the book because he takes rowley for granted. He could have not had a friend as good as rowley. Actually he probably wouldn't even have a friend at all. For example greg makes rowley do so many favors for him but greg does nothing for rowley and what he wants.

Greg is now completely reckless and now is reeling on rowley to be his wingman and going to try to make the girl that greg likes to like greg even more. But now in the nick of time rowley gets the chicken pox and can't be greg's wingman, so now he is still trying to make rowley go to the restaurant with greg and his girl-friend. I think greg is not a very good friend.

greg saids hes remebers when he was in his mothers belly.So far in the book Greg is talking about when he was little he talks about how he was a slow learner.

I just got the book, and started reading it. It's really interesting, starting off with Greg explaining his life inside his mother's womb. This book grabs you and the beggining of it, so you really have to force yourself to put it back down.

Just finished reading this book! It was really funny! I love all the Diary of A Wimpy Kid Books!!!

This can so get me out of my reading slump

When reading this I feel that Greg is some what a hypocrite because at first he asks himself why the boys are making such a big deal out of the valentines dance and getting a date but now Greg i asking his uncle how to get dates for the dance and now he is the one making a big deal out of the dance and getting a date.

Greg complains to much. He complains about being born, his little brother and so many other things. I think he needs to pause. Also he needs to be thankful an realize that he Is lucky and his problems are SO such are such stupid things for a middle school boy to be complaining about.

read soo much last night (well this book is mainly pictures...) It is really funny so far.
