When your 6 year old checks out a chapter book from the library but doesn’t really know how to read yet…so now you’re reading a book about a phantom horse.

This one stood out from the others, w/her mom’s note & finding out that possible mystery, & getting vengeance. It wasn’t concluded so maybe it will be in the next bk. Sam was particularly annoying in this one, obsessing about horses as usual, ignoring chores, &getting into trouble when she knows better. Unrealistic at times. The ending was poignant. The books are just the same stuff over and over; wish they were dif.
