Status Updates From The Technician (Polity, #4)

It's really sad that I read this AFTER its chronological sequel. A sense of mystery and questioning comprise at least 50% of this, and I've lost it. The remaining 50% is interesting and reasonably good, but I see now that it could have been better. The sadder thing is, this book apparently spoils the entire CORMAC series that happened prior. Blah D;
