My Dad recommended it to me. He is curious to know what I think of it. I just finished the first story, and I loved it. I learned a few new vocab words millinery is one). A character mentions Capricorn, so I looked the author up (probably again). He was a Capricorn. In Cap fashion he lived a long life, departed at age 91 in 2010. This is my first exposure to his work. uncle wiggily in connecticut (2/9)
not as well-written as 'a perfect day for bananafish' in my view, but I was touched to tears by emotions it conveyed, especially last few paras
just before the war with the eskimos (3/9)
to be honest I'm quite confused. but it is touching and memerising in a good weird way
