Objectives on total of books is not in my opinion, as of now a valid solution. I can read 10 books of 100 pages while at the same time read one book of 1000 pages. It's the same page count But in terms of novels is 10vs1. Makes no sense having books per year. It should be pages per day/year or something like that.
