Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty
Tauri’s first review of the year
it was amazing
If you look at the reviews, people either loved or hated this new release from Moriarty. And after reading - considering how the book played - I was surprised to find myself in the first group. The novel covers nine people who attend a health retreat for a variety of reasons - weight loss, mental health, couples counseling, etc. And the POV switches between those nine characters as well as the head of Tranquillum House and her two associates.

Tauri’s last review of the year
it was amazing
Second chance romances aren't easy to pull off, but Martin does it effortlessly! Just like with her first novel, I read this one in one sitting. But it doesn't suffer from second book syndrome. The characters are just as entertaining but nuanced in different ways, the plot and setting are familiar but fresh and she tackles the important issue of CTE in football with such care and grace. Another great sports romance!
