The book was decent and I appreciated the world and characters. However, the writing style threw me off a little bit. It seemed as though the author wrote the book in separate scenes and then put them together with no transitions. I went into this book ready to love it... I did not. Nothing was really exciting or shocking and I got sick of it pretty fast. Nonetheless, I did enjoy the characters and the way the story was told.
