Spensa is a girl who just wants to be a fighter pilot but she carries the baggage of her father being a traitor/coward in one of the biggest battles with the aliens. Because of her family’s standing, Spensa often explores tunnels and caverns far from town. In one ...more

Alison’s last review of the year
it was ok
Whelp, I finished it. Finally. It ended pretty much exactly how I figured it would. If you are looking for a series that is full of angst and romance with some pretty hardcore fighting/war, this is the series for you. Especially if you like things to wrap up nice and neat. I wish I would have stopped after book 3, if not earlier.
