A Place of Execution by Val McDermid
Geoffrey’s first review of the year
really liked it
A thoroughly satisfying read

One wonders half way through this novel how the author is going to keep the reader’s interest. But she does and then some. I found it slow but the craft upheld the story so well that I kept reading.

A revelation behind the masks

Being so right and so true is the burden of machines. We humans should count our blessings--as fragile though they may be. A superbly rewarding experience. Read this book.
