While I will admit that I struggled with the Sephy-Callum pairing at times, I still loved the subject matter of the whole book. It was direct and didn't shy away from showing absolutely terrifying consequences of a racism filled world. I wasn't quite prepared for the story to span so many years, but the ending was unexpected and just wow. I understand why people are invested in this series!
