The Storyteller's Secret by Sejal Badani

Amanda’s first review of the year

it was amazing
Lovely

The plot is a bit predictable, and there are a number of historical inaccuracies, but I really liked this book. The characters are wonderful and there is a happy ending. Some may find it sappy, but I felt really warmed and satisfied. Would recommend.

The Library Workplace Idea Book by Heather L. Seibert

Amanda’s last review of the year

I'm going to call this one read since, as a co-editor, I read it many times in 2019 and it should count toward my goal (though it TECHNICALLY is not published until 2020... I have a copy in my hand TODAY!)

As co-editor, I can happily say this book is full of wonderful essays from all over the USA that speak to making library spaces good places for us all, not just our patrons. Some tips and ideas to improve your workplace, one chapter at a time.
