Azelyn’s first review of the year
liked it
Not my favorite of Shultz's work. The story felt too formulaic in a been-here-done-that way, and the ending felt way too easy. But I laughed and particularly enjoyed the references to Beaumont and Beasley (The Beast of Talesend, book 1).

it was amazing
