3.5 stars I have reviewed this book on my blog at https://www.draliceviolett.com/book-b...

(TL;DR - I loved Janet's character, story and setting, and the use of literature and detective work to drive the story, but found Abby moany and uninteresting)

Alice’s last review of the year

I was going to give this 4 stars all the way through reading it as it was a solid and very readable crime novel and I love Belinda Bauer's descriptions, similes and dark humour, but then the ending was such a cop-out. Bah!
