The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton
Beth’s first review of the year
liked it

I particularly enjoyed the bit set in Newport, RI where I lived for 6 years and where I now work. I was so familiar with the streets and places she described. Really liked this. Couldn’t put it down this afternoon went I thought I’d read a bit and then nap. Great storyline and themes of motherhood and friendship. Enjoyed it much more than “Everything I ever told you”.
