A Dragon for Christmas by M.D. Neu
Ambrose’s last review of the year
really liked it
A Dragon for Christmas is a novelette that follows Carmen from 11 years old on her journey as a Dragon Keeper. I thought at first the story was going to be that rarest of things, a mid-grade LGBT+ book, but the story follows Carmen much further into her life, flying through Christmases, as we see her childhood crush on Mattie bloom into a relationship in adulthood.
