I loved the story in this book and will read the next installation in the series. The story earned 4+ stars. SAR dogs had me from the first. The mystery is interesting. And there's a budding romance. But the writing earned 2 stars. I think in time Ms. Hillegas will be a wonderful writer. She builds tension well. Her characters come to life.
