I love World War II historical fiction, so I knew that I would love this book. I was right-it was so beautiful and well written, and I loved Isabelle and Vianne's stories equally. I loved reading about women in the wartime and Isabelle's unrelenting desire to make a difference. That said, it is not my favorite novel about WWII, and I thought it was slow at times, which was surprising. I think those who rarely read historical fiction will like thi ...more

I received a copy of this book through Blogging for Books, but all opinions are my own.

Wow, Nicola Yoon is an amazing writer. Her book Everything, Everything was one of my favorite reads of 2016. I didn't like the characters in this one as much, but I still thought it was a fantastic read. You really get to know Natasha and Daniel through the course of their day together. I loved all the little facts thrown in and the writing style overall. This
