Gen and Jeremy have been summer camp best friends for most of their lives, and come together to help save the camp during a special Hannukah edition for old families and potential donors. I loved Gen and Jeremy - they were such perfect balances to each other and it was easy to imagine them as kids and teens at camp together. The story of the Donner Party, especially through the experience of Sarah Graves. Daniel Brown is an incredible storyteller and brought everything to life so vividly, it was amazing. I was especially interested in Sarah, Mary Ann and the others who left the settlement to try and find help, because I think most of what I have read focused on the people left behind.
