really liked it
It started out a little slow. It took me a while to get used to it switching between a story of Iris, experts from her sister's book, The Blind Assassin, and then story that was told within The Blind Assassin story. It was a lot of stories within the main story. It picked up steam about halfway through the book and became a mystery about what really happened in this woman's life. It was light and fun. I think it'll make an entertaining movie. It moved along quite quickly and I enjoyed the little cliffhangers at the end of the chapters. The happy ending was a nice change of pace from the books i usually read. I did find it quite funny, but I wish we got to know the characters a bit more - both the mortals and gods. I think that would have made it an even better book.
