After a series of instances that make the main character think he is having lapses in memory, he starts to wonder if someone isn’t messing with him instead. Then murders start happening and he isn’t completely convinced that he didn’t commit them.

June 2017 Review:
This is really my third read of this book. I first read it in 2004. Then I read it as part of a book club in 2010. I decided I needed to reread it before I watched the new television series since I only had a vague recollection of what happened.
I still love all the stories of the old gods coming to America. That is only in the first part of the book when Shadow and Wednesday are on a road trip to try to convince the old gods tha ...more
