Loved, loved, loved it! Charleson is such a wonderful writer that she brings these amazing dogs to life. May be even better than her first wonderful book Scent of the Missing. I can't imagine anybody not enjoying this book!

I originally read this book about 15 years ago and recently decided to re-read it. Good move; it was every bit as exciting and engaging as it was the first time. Lansing was a marvelous writer...this is one of the finest survivalist stories ever.
