Glodean Champion can be best described as a "Renaissance Woman with Flair." I just don't know that it would make a very interesting read...unless I wrote it the way Stephen King wrote Thinner.

Or maybe a book about menopause gone wild. Except that would be more of a horror story than a mystery. 😂😂😂

Sorry for the delayed response! Yes, Salmon Croquettes explores the theme of LGBTQ. Not in a detailed way, but from the standpoint of a 12-year-old who is trying to sort out how she feels in her skin. She doesn't know whether or not she really likes girls, but she's certain she doesn't like boys. She's not a "girlie" girl and rebels against her mother's pressure to become one. I wanted the reader to be able to understand that being LGBTQ is not a choice or something someone is "traumatized" into. That it is a birthright (if you will), the connection between spirit and the physical body...and what happens when the two don't align as far as sexuality is concerned.

I hope that answers your question without giving too much away about the book.(less)
