| Fantastic as always. Two whole chapters devoted to going to a steam bath with friends and getting drunk. The best one though was the chapter providing the background story for their hats. | |
"I didn't like this book at the start but I think that's intentional. Then it takes a turn. By the end and after several readings it's a new favorite. With every reread I notice new details in the illustrations."

| Neat! I liked two things about this graphic novel. One: the art style is very distinctive. Two: one of the main characters is an octopus. Not like a fancy space octopus as far as I could tell, but a regular-type octopus, just smart. | |

| Considerably less cozy than both Legends & Lattes and Bookshops & Bonedust. There are actual stakes and a number of combat scenes. It's more or less a straightforward fantasy tale. Still, it's well told and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Zyll the g ...more | |
