Initially hard work understanding the salt business,as it was In The 17th century. Stick with it,as the tale develops and intermixes with the civil war, a well researched novel,worth a read.

Not being a fan of western novels, I came across Ron Schwab's saga and thought I would give them a try. Just finished the summer's child. I will now have to get Cut nose, his latest novel. Read the whole saga it's brilliant.
