The Seas by Samantha Hunt
"A wonderfully metaphoric short novel dripping with meaning and possible interpretation.

Sarah and 37 other people liked Ron Charles's review of The Last Cruise:
The Last Cruise by Kate Christensen
"There are a few simple prohibitions to remember when packing books for vacation:

Don’t take “Deliverance” on a canoe trip.

Don’t take “Into the Wild” camping.

And please don’t take Kate Christensen’s new novel on your next Carnival Cruise.

Douglas Adams
“For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.”
Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

“When I have a little money, I buy books; and if I have any left, I buy food and clothes.”

“The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.”
Douglas Adams, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe
