Foreclosed by Traci Tyne Hilton
"Very awkward prose, misused words, grammatical errors, and an incoherent, illogical plot are just some of the problems with Foreclosed.

At first, I read on because I always try to give a book a chance to get better, but soon it became apparent that..." Read more of this review »

I thought the start was great, the premise interesting. But like some other readers who've commented here, there is too much inner dialogue inside main character Em Moore's head, and not enough external dialogue and action to flesh out the story.

The Perfect Ghost by Linda Barnes

“Servitude simplifies life.”
Susan Hunt, Spiritual Mothering

C.S. Lewis
“Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of - throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.”
C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity

“When a woman is absorbed with God's glory, she will interpret her life according to His Truth”
Susan Hunt

“Servitude is not easy. Obedience is not a one-time decision. Obedience is alife time discipline. But it does bring a cimplicty to life because it settles the issue of who is in control.”
Susan Hunt, Spiritual Mothering
