Book cover for The Language of Deep Forgiveness: Break Free from Struggling to Accept the Unacceptable
Perhaps the first pillar is hard because you are still grieving the loss caused by this person?
Debra Oehlberg
Amen! My issue in a nutshell. What he did caused major impact on my career, my finances, even the way my own husband used to view me. It was a lot of damage. Even though I have forgiven in my mind, I still have PTSD dreams about bad situations in a job I will no longer work again.

“The Bible is the Word of God: supernatural in origin, eternal in duration, inexpressible in valor, infinite in scope, regenerative in power, infallible in authority, universal in interest, personal in application, inspired in totality. Read it through, write it down, pray it in, work it out, and then pass it on. Truly it is the Word of God. It brings into man the personality of God; it changes the man until he becomes the epistle of God. It transforms his mind, changes his character, takes him on from grace to grace, and gives him an inheritance in the Spirit. God comes in, dwells in, walks in, talks through, and sups with him.”
Smith Wigglesworth

Mary Potter Kenyon
“You who have never “been there” in the throes of grief, have no idea what is going on inside the head of the grieving spouse: the scattered
thoughts, the constant worry that we will forget something or someone in our fog-induced state, that strange feeling of not quite “being all there” when out in social situations, the pall that covers everything, like a cloak of sadness that never lifts.”
Mary Potter Kenyon, Refined by Fire: A Journey of Grief and Grace
