More of Author Solutions's books…
“This book is intended to “upset the apple cart” planted squarely in the middle of most mainstream churches today. It is meant to provoke you to reevaluate whether or not you may have been served a spiritual diet of “bad apples.”

“Do you experience God more as a good Father or as “the Godfather” who is just waiting to break your kneecaps?”

“Being religious is like trying to be a good caterpillar, whereas spiritual rebirth means receiving new life, Christ’s life, and becoming a bold-winged butterfly in and through Him! It’s a takeover, not a makeover!

“The problem is that we have a culture of guilt-ridden, weary Christians today who have been taught a faulty formula of forgiveness. They think that forgiveness is doled out to them on an “as needed” basis in accordance with their pleading for a fresh batch of forgiveness. They function out of a “faith” that offers them only partial, conditional forgiveness.”

“To remain living under the Old Covenant law is something like eating a menu rather than eating the real meal.”

“The Old Covenant law can only administer condemnation. The grace we receive under the New Covenant provides us the opportunity of emancipation.”

“Jesus did not come to earth to give us a pattern of good works to follow so that we would live by imitation. He came to purchase us by proxy as our divine substitute and Savior so that we could live through His impartation.”

“During the teaching ministry of Jesus here on earth, He was teaching under the Old Covenant. He was amplifying the stringency of the law and man’s hopeless inability to keep it. He had not yet died; therefore, the New Covenant had not yet gone into effect!”

“The church in the West has essentially hijacked the Old Covenant sacrificial system and has perverted most of its fundamental tenets. Rather than resting in Christ’s finished work and the once-and-for-all forgiveness He executed when He shed His blood on the cross, Christians have devised their own “system” of forgiveness in an attempt to “manage” their sins.

“Newsflash: Worthy is the Lamb, not the sheep!”

“Did you know that the Chinese character for “Righteousness” is pictorially composed of two words: A “Lamb” that is written over “Me”. How perfect!”

“Idols can be metal or mental, and my anger had become an idol.”

“We can devote ourselves to aggrandizing the “altar” of our affliction to such a degree that we end up aborting the true gift of the gauntlet, or we can choose to cooperate with God’s Spirit and “alter” our oyster’s irritant into an iridescent oracle. We can parlay our pain into pearls of wisdom, or we can massage malice and murmuring into a malignant marble. Pearls of our hearts are a manifestation of our mind-set. So, grit or glory, it is our choice to make.”
