Jess is on page 285 of 722 of A Capote Reader: Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I’ll have to watch the film again now, because I don’t remember it being quite as colourful as this novella. I think Hepburn was an ok choice... besides the hair, it was a fairly spot-on portrayal. constant unsettledness underneath a layer of comfortable confidence. I’ve the same sentiments as the author; I enjoyed her, envied her, disliked her, loved her, and missed her when she left!
