Interesting but not what I expected

Not a full novel, but more a novella in length.

The writing and flow are excellent, the descriptions vivid, and the action scenes belong it a martial arts film.

Despite Its Reputation Not Her Best

I abandoned this after a few chapters as it is a slow and ponderous read, and this ebook version either is badly edited or she wrote this one with paragraphs as long as two pages, which I doubt.

A Fine Conclusion

A good way to bring this trilogy to a satisfying close, as the band of misfit heroes face off against far superior numbers and powers to try to save their world from the return of the ancients and enslavement at their hands again.
