Loved it

Another great story by Bill Kitson. Adam and Eve are one of the best sleuths I have read. If the police can't solve the crime, Adam and Eve certainly can.
Well worth the 5 stars.

Another great story

Bill Kitson has certainly hit the nail on the head in inventing the two great characters, Adam and Eve.
Adam with an easy going attitude, and fiery Eve----well she was fiery until she fell in love with Adam.

I've given this book 5 stars because of the wonderful way the author managed to bring everything to life --- not only the characters, but the descriptions of KI.

Wow! I didn't see that coming. Patterson and Clocks, what a team. Two detectives working together to catch criminals, and they don't care how they do it as long as the job gets done. The police force either respect them or hate them, there

Louise Mullins
“Sometimes what we imagine is much worse than reality. When people stop communicating their feelings to each other it becomes much easier to hold back. When something happens that you'd usually tell your wife or husband it becomes difficult because you're no longer talking as openly as you once were. Soon you start to withhold more and more from one another, holding less intimate conversations, until eventually you begin to appear secretive, hostile even. Passive recipients of each others behaviour, rather than active partners. One day you wake up full of resentment and bitterness. You want your wife to pay, take responsibility for their part in making you feel this way. You want to hurt them.”
Louise Mullins, Why She Left

Stephen King
“I have spent a good many years since―too many, I think―being ashamed about what I write. I think I was forty before I realized that almost every writer of fiction or poetry who has ever published a line has been accused by someone of wasting his or her God-given talent. If you write (or paint or dance or sculpt or sing, I suppose), someone will try to make you feel lousy about it, that's all.”
Stephen King, On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft
