Hey!I followed the brouhaha this week vaguely, and then, fiddling around Goodreads, I realized that was YOU.
I'd like to apologize on behalf of all authors (not that anyone has authorized me to do that, but hey, why not? :) It's shameful when people get defensive and lash out.
None of us like getting bad reviews, but they're a chance to LEARN things, you know? Write better. And your pull-quotes were pretty inarguably awful.
I'm a fan of honest reviewing, even when the reviews are hard to read. Keeps us all on our toes.
