Carl E. Wooldridge Jr. fell in love with the fantasy genre from an early age. He spent a good majority of his childhood being exposed to things like the Thundercats and He-Man. Going into his teenage years, he discovered games like Magic: The Gathering, Final Fantasy, Dungeons & Dragons, Secret of Mana, and Vampire, which emboldened the direction of his hobbyist life. He’s read many books from his favored authors: R.A. Salvatore, Raymond E. Feist, and Drew Karpyshyn. He was born and raised in San Diego, California, and from there he joined the military where he spent two decades as ordnance technician.
