Nobody has any unlikely crushes?
I'll go first. I love Anthony Hopkins! He is way too old for me, and not necessarily gorgeous, but he just has presence!
I also like Simon Pegg. Someone couldn't get why I liked him. He's cute and I love a funny guy.

I love Anthony Hopkins as well! He just has that presence and charisma.I especially love him dressed as Diego De La Vega/Zorro. ;)
I've gotten a lot of crazy looks when I told people I think Rivers Cuomo from Weezer is hot :)
Although he's not as hot as he used to be :( BOOOO...
CaroleDee, I have a thing for nerds, and Weezer knows how to exploit that nerd/hipster vibe. So I am not laughing.

I think I was destined to be hopelessly head over heels for him when I saw him playing CS Lewis in Shadowlands. He was also so attractive in The Edge. So smart!!!

OHH and Corey Taylor (the lead singer from slipknot! Who woulda known that such hottest was hidden behind that mask! Can you tell I have a thing for musicians. LOL
Ok ... I'm a tard, and a nerd but I totally love Jack Black. I don't know what it is - he's just freaking adorable. When I tell my friends, they definitely think I'm kidding.
: )

I can understand that. Funny guys are always awesome :) Although, I don't know if I could envision doing the 'nasty' with him. LOL

I love a clever man. :)
Probably Robert Downey Jr. for me. Even for a 47 year old, he still looks handsome. His charm off and in cameras just makes him much more appealing :)
I've never been a big fan of Robert Downey Jr, but he looks great in his 40s, and he made me eat my words as Sherlock Holmes and Tony Stark.
:) Clever men are the best!I don't know why but I also think that Sean Connery is a very sexy gentleman. xD
You know what's interesting? I like Sean Connery as a silver fox more than I liked him when he was young.
James Spader was always one of my sweeties (think Stargate/Tuff Turf/Endless love/Pretty in Pink). Not so much now, lol.
Another unlikely crush of mine is Martin Freeman. I find him adorable. He's great as Watson on Sherlock. I'm excited to see him as Bilbo Baggins on The Hobbitt!

Alton Brown, the gentleman in my avatar. Warren Zevon--yes, I know he's dead, don't care, and a few virtually unknown Chefs who have restaurants in NYC.I am very odd.
Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress wrote: "I had a crush on James Spader too. He didn't look so good on Boston Legal."No kidding. And didn't he move to 'The Office?' Even 'better.' ;)
Lady Danielle aka The Book Huntress wrote: "I didn't know he was on The Office! Darn, I missed it."I named my first-born after his character in Tuff-Turf - Morgan. Robert Downey Jr was in that one, also, as the comic sidekick. Of course...so was Kim Richards, of Escape to Witch Mountain/Disney fame, and the movie was pretty much a flop.
I love Sean Connery as a silver fox, though I have to admit, he was pretty dang handsome in Darby O'Gill and the Little People. Good God, I'm dating myself (okay, I'm only in my 40s, but my mom loved to make me watch the older stuff).
Another one I've always liked is Sam Neill (Jurassic Park/Hunt for Red October).
My mom loves Sam Neill. I think he is very distinguished and attractive.
I remember Tuff Turf. That was good. James Spader was hot in Supernova. He had some nice muscles.
Karen, I have a thing for Dave Grohl who is the lead singer for Foo Fighters. I also like Chris Cornell. And don't get me started on Paul Banks, the lead singer for Interpol!

My crush on Alan Cumming seems to make people look at me a bit differently. What can I say love those scottish accents. Also, David Tennant although he is a bit more main stream.
The accent does a lot for a guy who wouldn't normally be to your taste, Jessica. I know a lot of the British actors I like probably aren't considered good-looking to many folks.

Oh yeah, D...love Dave Grohl. And Chris Cornell? *sigh* all the way back to Soundgarden. Mike Patton from Faith No More, Anthony Keidis when he takes his shirt off LOL, Bono circa 1988. Jon Bon Jovi any year...I could talk rock/grunge bands all day!!
Oops!! Can't forget Adam!

Adam is cute. He's a bit skinny for my tastes (and too many tattoos), but he can sing and he can work it!
Okay I have had a crush on Eddie Vedder for about twenty years too, I mean how could you not that man is a sexy piece of man meat and writes amazing music, but the two crushes I have that no one else understands( not anyone) are Alan Rickman, that voice, gah! I love him. And.......Bruce Springstein, lets keep in mind that I am 30 so these are not men that I really should have a crush on but alas I do. So there I have confessed and I feel soooo much better :-)
Oh I also agree with you Karen H Dave Grohl is totally drool worthy fella. My friends can't get past his mouth, I just think he is amazing.
In high school next to my cat smoking a joint poster were pictures of Charlton Heston and Darren McGavin. For old guys, I thought they were hot. Now that I'm close or at their age at the time, I think they were very attractive slightly middle aged men.
Hugh Laurie, of course!! And silver fox Sean Connery. But my biggest "I don't get it" confession is for Christopher Meloni, esp in True Blood. That man can make me wet my knickers with just his presence :)
If we are talking old guys then Howard Keal from, well from many old musicals, who has also now passed away from old age, in his hey day, gosh!! Bless my beautiful hide! He was a manly man and i loved him!
I have always adored Tom Petty. It's hard to explain as I don't know what it is about him, but I think it might be his lyrics.
I've always had a thing for John Cusack...both young and old, he still floats my boat. Don't ask me why. I can't define my love LOL!
ok well the first time i saw joseph morgan play Klaus on Vampire's Diaries (I don't even watch the show) I fell in "like" with him...yes like...how can i fall in love with someone I've never met before? ;)
You know who I forgot...Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He's not classically handsome but he is in some awesome movies.

People definately go Huh? when I say I like Snape from Harry Potter. I was always rooting for him. And I secretly had a crush on him as a child when he played the Sheriff in Robin Hood. I also quite fancy Liev Schreiber, who played Victor in Wolverine. I seem to fall for the bad guys!
~Megan~ wrote: "I've always had a thing for John Cusack...both young and old, he still floats my boat. Don't ask me why. I can't define my love LOL!"Me too!! The way he talks his dry sense of humor, and when he smiles sigh!
Laura wrote: "Jill wrote: "Okay I have had a crush on Eddie Vedder for about twenty years too, I mean how could you not that man is a sexy piece of man meat and writes amazing music, but the two crushes I have t..."I have loved Alan Rick an for along time too, definitely before his snape days but those didn't help because I loved snape. I think I have a memory of him playing the Beast in a Beauty and the beast movie. That would of been the first time I heard his sweet melodic voice(ha) and who could forget him as Colonel Brandon in Sense and Sensibility.
Anyway enough of that.. Liev , definitely understand that crush, but I always think of him as Cotton from the first Scream movie.
Colonel Brandon Rickman = LOVE
Snape Rickman = not so much LOL
Of course, I am in the minority, and have NEVER been a Snape fan. I'm a staunch Harry lover, and hate all those who oppose him.

He's was so good in Truly, Madly, Deeply. Great movie.
