I think his writing is very good, in particular, the dialogue. I've read the first 3 McGill's as well as the first John Tall Wolf, and am now working on Ron Ketchum before circling back to Jim McGill for the last three books he's written. I am enjoying all the series tremendously.

This was my first time reading one of Flynn's books. I was please that I did not have to read the ones before to understand what was going on but also got a concise update from the previous story, excellent!
