Jess | 3721 comments I just read about her first book The Becoming, and wondered if anyone has read it yet. I'm going to request it from the library, but just wanted to hear some people's opinions.

♥Tricia♥ (siddie) | 132 comments Ohh that sounds super good.. added it to my TBR pile :D

Though it sounds so good I might bump it up toward the top lol

DarkHeart "Vehngeance" (darkheart) | 437 comments I haven't yet read it, but I've got it on my February reading challenge list for another group. I'm really looking forward to it.

Kasia Well, it's been picked for me as a Recommend-A-Book Challenge. As soon as I'm done with it (sometime in Feb), I can share my opinion...

message 5: by Theresa (new)

Theresa (tsorrels) I've read everything in the series so far... I enjoyed the first books, but the most recent one really annoyed me. I can't say anything more without giving away plot! Sorry!

However, the first couple of books are good (and short!). :)

message 6: by Kasia (new)

Kasia Thanks Theresa! Good & short - I can live with that :)

Jess | 3721 comments Thanks Theresa. As soon as I read it, I will tell people too!

message 8: by Ranata (new)

Ranata Clark (thatchicknata) I didn't like The Becoming and that's funny because I was so ready to read it when I read what it was about. It was sort of lame to me and unbelieveable. It was the most boring vampire novel I've ever read. I didn't like the direction at all.

I thought I'd love them so much that I bought the first 3. I took the last 2 back. Just wasn't my cup of tea. I hope you enjoy them though.

message 9: by Jess (new)

Jess | 3721 comments I just finished the first book and I have to say that I enjoyed it. I liked the fact that it was a little different from the other vampire books I've been reading lately. It wasn't entirely doom and gloom and all about the tragic past of the main hero.. but instead it was about a heroine who was pretty kick ass.

I thought that the story moved along pretty quickly, and hopefully the other books are as good.

Irene Hollimon | 130 comments loved the whole anna strong series- my only problem was the sex- depending on how you look at it- it was either not enough or too much-
on one hand this supposedly strong- kick ass character keeps losing her clothing- this poor girl can not keep her pants up. It kind of offends my sensibilities- I expect her to be smarter than that.
on the other hand, while her pants keep falling off, there isn,'t enough description to be titalling.
still block through the sex parts that are neither sensible nor titallating and the rest of the story is great.
I give it a definate thumbs up.

Lily (lilithesque) I like the series. The first book was best. I'll keep reading. I think I have not read the latest release just because I have so many books tbr.
