Nick smiled softly and leaned in, meeting his lips with hers for a long minute. "Does that help?" He whispered.

Noir's eyes were closed, her slender brows meeting slightly. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at him, her gaze switching between both of his dark irises. "A little." She admitted, the corners of her lips twitching with the prospect of a real smile.

Nick smiled mischievously. "How can I change that little to a lot?" He said, pulling her closer.

Noir couldn't help but let herself smile at him, lacing her hands around his back. "A little is all I need," she said quietly. "But you can go ahead and try, if you want."

"You're tempting me, darling." Nick grinned a bit shyly. He kissed her again, deeper and lovingly.
"Ahem." A voice said out of nowhere.

Noir smiled through the kiss, making sure she held him close. She froze as the voice met them and pulled back from Nick quickly, but not letting go. She tilted her head back at so she was staring at the ceiling in obvious annoyance. "What do you want?" She called in clear exasperation.

The shadows writhed and cringed. Nick widened his eyes when he realized he was no longer in control of Black Widow.
"Just how long are you going to keep me captive in this nightmarish world of yours?" She growled irritably. Her face was the only part shown, the rest of her body consumed by darkness.

"Oh," Noir was taken by surprise and let go of him, turning to look at Natasha. "I didn't think it was you. How's it going?" She asked pleasently, piquing an eyebrow at the woman's current position. She gave Nick a quick sideways glance curiously as if to say, I didn't know about this.

Nick shrugged. "My shadows captured her." He explained to Noir. "She was trapped in a nightmare world in her mind, but my concentration is needed to keep her there." He scratched his black hair, smiling impishly. "My concentration was elsewhere."
Black Widow rolled her eyes. If she could move, she would have thrown a knife into his gut by now.

"O-oh." Noir bit her lip a little and blinked. "Right. Sorry about that." She gave a shadow of a smirk and stuck her tongue out at Natasha in a fairly rare display of childishness, just add to the mood. She flicked the hair out of her eyes and turned to Nick, deciding to give him just a darting kiss on the cheek. "Thanks," she murmered. "We'll continue later, just keep her secure for now." She smiled prettily, an odd show on her stony face.

Nick smiled back at her, dazed. "Actually, I was planning on letting her go back to the HQ to tell big green and ugly about Clint and Jac's capture. Should add to the fun, will it not?" Nick asked, dark eyes glittering.

Noir's eyes actually widened and she glanced over at him. "That..." She said slowly. "Is brilliant." Her lips slowly curved into a stiff smile.

Black Widow glanced in between them uncertainly. The shadows had crept over her throat so talking was not an option.
Nick turned his gaze to Natasha and his eyes flashes momentarily, turning black as night and dark as coal. A blast of darkness and the shadows were gone, with Natasha in their clutches.

Noir watched Natasha dissapear, her arms folded aross her chest. "Wonder how long it will take," she murmered, raising one of her hands to play with the end that belonged to a strand of the blonde hair falling over her shoulders.

"The shadows are fast." Nick said solemnly, reaching out to pet her hair. In a few seconds, the shadows were creeping back from the walls and curling around Nick's ankles like purring cats.
