ok I'll admit I don't know if it was the last I read with an annoying protagonist but definitely Eleanor & Park. The whole book for me was a disaster especially when there was such a huge hype about it and my expectations were really high. Eleanor was always misunderstanding things and she was ready to pick a fight without reason. The love story was dull and I found myself being more interesting in her family drama than the actual story. The only reason that I gave 3 stars is because of the ending. I have a thing about realistic books/choices/endings it makes me see the characters as real human beings. (I guess a review was not needed but here it is)

The pleasures of men by Kate Wiliams. When I started reading it it was Ok, nothing special, but as I continued I forced myself to read this book...It's just boring!

I’ve never been out of the USA because of a loud younger sibling who cannot physically sit still long enough to be on a long plane ride, so I would love to go to France! (I speak enough French to understand the locals and for them to understand me, and so do my parents, so that’s a plus.)
