Any suggestions for what to read in Feruary?

Jason | 65 comments How about "The House That Jack Built"?

I would go for that, been meaning to read some Masterton.

Or my suggestion would be "Live Girls" by Ray Garton.

Gonna try to actually participate next month...

A.R. (ARBraun) | 117 comments Graham Masterson is awesome! Just finished The Fifth Witch and Spirit.

As for February, Water Witch by Deborah LeBlanc.

message 5: by Brett (new)

Brett (battlinjack) | 75 comments I'll toss these three into the ring for consideration.

Wrath by James White

Tower Hill by Sarah Pinborough

Mischief by Douglas Clegg

I've been a Pinborough kick lately thanks to a certain person. So far I have read The Hidden, The Reckoning & Breeding Ground.
Good reads each and every one!

Cool Brett. O.k. I'm going to start a new poll. So as of now there are no more nominations. This is the list you can vote on:

The House that Jack Built-Gary Masterson
Water Witch-Deborah LeBlanc
Wrath-James White
Tower Hill-Sarah Pinborough
Michief- Douglas Clegg

Who wrote The House that Jack Built? Gary Masterson?

message 7: by Eric (new)

Eric (eterrell3) Wrath-James White

Ummm, is this maybe Succulent Prey by Wrath James White?

message 8: by Rhonda (new)

Rhonda (sanddanz) Eric - that's the same question I came to this thread to ask. LOL!

message 9: by Kristen (new)

Kristen (Ravenskya) I don't follow instruction so I voted on all of the polls... not that my votes should count since I've already read all of them :)

message 10: by Brett (new)

Brett (battlinjack) | 75 comments Yes, yes. I feel so stoopid now. No excuse. Just in a hurry. I'm glad you caught it.

message 11: by A.R. (new)

A.R. (ARBraun) | 117 comments Yes, I noticed it too. Not Gary, but Graham. Probably just a typo.

message 12: by Matt R. (new)

Matt R. (matt2009) Sounds like a good book, I'll check it out.

message 13: by Rhonda (new)

Rhonda (sanddanz) So which poll actually counts since the 2nd one was SUPPOSED to but more voted on the first one? LOL!!!

Dylan (dmfriend26) | 231 comments Mod
We'll just count the first one as the poll.

message 15: by Rhonda (new)

Rhonda (sanddanz) so Water Witch it is?

Well, I think it still has a couple of days, but it looks like it will be Water Witch and The House that Jack Built.

message 17: by A.R. (new)

A.R. (ARBraun) | 117 comments You're not going to believe this, but I just got The House That Jack Built cheap at a bookstore where you can get books for trade-in values, so I'm all set to read it!

message 18: by Kristen (new)

Kristen (Ravenskya) Two good choices... I enjoyed them both.

message 19: by [deleted user] (new)

I just ordered my copies from Leisure. They both sound like great books.

message 20: by Amy (new)

Amy (Bibliocrates) I just got a copy of Water Witch and The House That Jack Built. I can't seem to find where we are discussing these books. Can someone point me in the right direction? Is this like an online book club?
